10 Worthwhile Pages from my Lifebook

All of us have been to a school or a college for sure. The lessons we learned there were undoubtedly advantageous but I have a question for you. Besides those formal teachings, What is that one phenomenon that has somewhere taught us in reality?  What is that one force that drives us? What that actually is?

                                                               That's our life!

The obstacles life throws at us always end up serving fruitful in one manner or the other. Lucky are those who get more of such hindrances( I was one of them). Everything that came added to the person I have become and here I introduce you to some of the most rewarding lessons from my life-book that I strongly believe you too will relate to-

Do embrace these chapters and let me know which one turned out the best for you!

1. Life doesn't always bring happy moments and fun. At times, it really sucks and we need to admit that. "Being positive is great, but being over- positive is not." Accept the situation and look forward to the solutions instead of giving false assurance to yourself that nothing has really happened.

   2. You will meet different people with varying personalities. Being an extrovert, I have always loved communicating to them and one thing I have learned is that-
"We must communicate to all but chose the ones that we communicate regularly to."
Ensure that the people you are surrounding yourself with help you grow, that makes the real difference.

3. It is genuinely inevitable to take some time out of your daily schedule for your family, friends and the people you care about. Meeting your emotional needs is equally important, remember that! It instills a sense of belongingness and boosts your productivity too. Had a tiring day at work? Go, get some time with your beloveds!

4. This one hits me hard! we need to start taking responsibility for our actions and start working sincerely towards our goals. The moment we hold ourselves responsible for all that comes to us, we start flourishing. Stop cribbing and blaming and let's just start working.

5. You can own all the wealth of the universe and still won't be happy if you don't know how to express gratitude. Being content with what we have is the most effective happiness mantra. That doesn't mean that looking for more is bad, but you need to be clear about what do you need more- happiness or material possessions? Give it a thought!

6. We can never ever control all that happens around us, but we can completely control all that happens within us. The way we respond to a situation determines everything. Even If people are trying to mock you, the moment you ignore them instead of taking their bullshit in your system, you win!

7. Peace of mind is above everything! If something or someone disturbs that, maintain a distance from them. Kick out toxic people, even if you need to be rude at times, it's fine. You can't take all the negativity in and then feel good. Obviously not! Be at peace with who you are and who you want to become.

8. Trust yourself! Trust God! Trust the process! Trust! Life simplifies its complexities when we start having that much-needed confidence and trust in our actions. There lies magic when you believe in believing. Believe that you can do it and then nothing can stop you.

9. We at times live in the illusion of being right all the time. Be it any relationship, we at times start feeling that the other person is not making efforts to strengthen the relation but hold on, visualize the situation from their perspective. What do you feel can be the possible cause of their changed behavior? Maybe it's you or any misunderstanding that is ruining everything. So go, talk, fix things up, wipe out misunderstandings- they destroy everything!

10. Pamper yourself! Take out some "Me time" regularly. Let me put it straight- spending time on social media doesn't count. Cook a scrumptious meal, move your body, nourish, have a comforting spa, a relaxing nap, read an amazing book and work on yourself. As far as it is adding to the personality you want to embrace, it is worth your time, your energy and you.

BONUS-( because we all love it)
  •  Establish a healthy relationship with your food. At times we just keep on consuming without giving a damn to what our body is actually looking for. It is imperative to make healthy choices and start taking small steps that help us in becoming fitter. No, I am not advising you to spend 2-3 hours at a gymnasium but do take some time out for your health. Have a walk, eat some greens, drink more water and you are halfway there.

I heartily hope that you had a wonderful time reading!
